Happy Sunday!

As I have been reflecting on what this blog has been over the past 6 months, but also as long as a year old now if we’re looking back to when I started my instagram page, I’ve been finding that consistency is hard.

Not only is consistency hard, but finding insightful things to discuss is always something I’ve struggled with. Things come and go into my mind, but then I get busy or distracted and they stay gone.

As I’ve been thinking through what I want this blog to become, it’s still at the core of what I’ve always wanted it to be. I want this to be a platform where other people can find inspiration and truth to be able to seek out the things their heart wants. (Next week, I have a post prepared that speaks more into this that I’m so excited about.)

As I’ve done a sort of self reflection into what this blog is becoming, I’ve come to realize that the only way to really build a platform of people who are interested in what I have to say is to really battle that consistency piece and make this page something that has regular posts on it.

That being said! Over the next few weeks you’ll see some increased traction on this page as I try to establish consistency. Now, there may be some growing pains, but here is what I am hoping for:

Every Sunday, you’ll see something that is insightful, and brings some truth to the messy lives we’re all living.

Alternatively, I will sometimes share a new recipe, either my own or one that I love from a cookbook. Not only will this share new recipes with you all, but it is also part of a growing effort I am trying to make in utilizing my cookbooks more! Or I will share any new and completed projects I am working on. While I have a passion for DIY house projects, I really struggled with them early in the year and letting them consume me, therefore neglecting other things I loved. So, these posts may be sparse as I only seldom work on projects anymore.

Lastly, as applicable, I’ll be posting new music. Singing & performing is my number one passion, the trouble is finding time to do it amongst a busy work and life schedule. So, as time allows, I’ll also share my new music with you!

Hopefully, over the coming weeks, you’ll begin to see some more content from me and on this platform. I can’t wait to continue sharing my heart with you!
